Job Description
Job Purpose:
Maintains hotel rooms by cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing; and by providing linen services.
Duties:
- Follow cleaning schedule priorities based on room assignment lists.
- Announces presence before entering rooms and returns to occupied rooms later if needed.
- Makes bed and replace soiled linens, sheets, and pillowcases.
- Remove trash, newspapers, room service trays, and mini-bar items.
- Clean and refresh bathroom, including tubs, toilets, sinks, and linens.
- Replenish guest room supplies, toiletries, and stationery.
- Wash and vacuum floors
- Dust and polish furniture and glass surfaces.
- Conserve energy by adjusting shades and thermostats in unoccupied rooms.
- Notify supervisors of room readiness
- Restock Housekeeping carts at the end of each shift.
- Maintain equipment and report necessary repairs.
- Ensure a safe and secure work environment by following all standard and regulations.
- Clean and Maintain restrooms in the Restaurant, Bar and Ball Room areas
- Assists the Laundry department as needed.
Qualifications:
- - Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial services, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- - Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- - Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Demands
- - Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds independently.
- - Capability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, and perform repetitive motions for the duration of a shift.
- - Ability to climb stairs and navigate the property throughout the shift.
- - Ability to remain productive in a fast-paced environment and work in various environmental conditions.

$15.00 to $17.00 per hour, dependent on experience
